Quadrunner 250 2x4
#1
Hi all i am looking at a quadrunner 250 2x4 and i was also looking at a scrambler 500 4x4. I do know that the scrambler is faster but the suzuki has the best suspension,, I am 5'9 170 lbs what do you guys think in your opinons,, My payments on the suzuki would be about 90.00 verses 180 for the scrambler????
Thanks,
Josh

those two bikes are TOTALLY different!!!
The Scrambler has substantially more power and suspension AND is a four-wheel drive.
Suzuki makes a 250 Quadrunner 4x4... I have one, it's extremely dependable and makes out a lot better in the mud than my friends Scrambler 400 4x4.
But the Scrambler is more fun because you can do wheelies, donuts, and is more suitable for jumps than the Quadrunner is...
You won't want to do jumps much higher than 2 feet on the Quadrunner because it just doesn't have a "sport" suspension and it bottoms out, and it doesn't have enough power to keep the wheels spinning for true donuts, and to ride a wheelie, you need a little bump to lift your front wheels off first.
The Suzuki has better mud protection and has a superior snorkel air intake system for better riding in deep water.
The Scrabmler's belt can get wet in deep water, then you're not going anywhere.
The Suzuki is much nicer to drive through tight woods trails since it is smaller and easier to turn and menuver.
I'd say the Scrambler is more for speed, jumps, tricks, etc. and the Quadrunner is for mud, extreme terrain, and comfortable everyday trail riding.
good luck choosing... but the Suzuki is less expensive and will last longer.
