Default 1996 Polaris 500

I am trying to fix my the speedometer on my 1996 Sportsman 500. I put a new cable on and checked the actual speedometer, it works with a drill supplying the turns. I have taken off the angle drive for the cable. It seems the key drive is broken. I cant find a part to fix it. can anyone help out?? Thanks Todd

Do you have the old damaged speedo cable still? Cut off the "squared" end and make a key to drive the speedo.

Found a pic of what they used to look like.
Pic robbed from the net.

If all else fails find a key the same length for something else.
