Default 1990 LT230E spark plug

I just bought a 1990 Suzuki LT230E.
It's electric and pull start, chain drive
Manufacturer plate states month and year of 6/90
Purchased a D7EA spark plug since I bought it without a SP
SP is too small, as in the threads just drop in...
I'm thinking it got a head swap???
Any chance there is another size plug for it?
Thanks in advance

Maybe the hole got stripped out.

That was my first thought, so I'm wondering if a helicoil would work. It just seems too big to have been stripped and just rethreaded.

Does a big plug fit in it and tighten? It would have been drilled and threaded.
But yes, plenty have been heli-coiled. My guess is that the hole is too big to do that now.

I haven't tried a bigger plug, I don't know what the thread is, looks course... I did try an old plug from my truck but it just slides in as well... I'll get a bigger plug and try. I've used helicoils many times on other vehicles and have tapped and died many, the hole don't seem like it's been tapped and died but I could be wrong.
