The title is all the info i can find. Its got a loncin motor on it. I bought a wiring kit off amazon and everything but the stator worked. I salvaged the old stator and had it running great. But my dumb self destroyed the old stator on the first ride because i let an alignment pin for the cover fall off inside and it ragged the stator completely. I cant find the original stator ANYWHERE online. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated and any info needed that i can maybe find on the quad can be provided.
There are a few of ways round your problem. You could find the VIN, this may tell you the manufacturer of the Quad, which might lead to a source of parts for it. Or the engine type could give a clue as to which Honda that is based on. The genuine Honda stator may be identical. If it is just the wires beat up on your stator you could get it re-wound, there are specialists who re-wind motorcycle and ATV stators.

On the motor plate is says manufacturer is "wangliusa inc" cant find a vin anywhere on the thing. The old stator is trashed completely. I see a ton of stators that look like it online. But trouble is all of them have 3 mounting holes. Mine had 2. Idk if the 3 is just for different mounting applications being aftermarket parts or what. Reguardless i hate know the fourwheeler runs phenomenally and have to give up on it over a stator
OK, Googling produces a very short lived US company, who undoubtedly imported a batch, sold them and disappeared. However the clue is Wangli who are a Chinese maker, doubt if that will get us far though. So the Loncin engine, find out which Honda it is a copy of. It isn't the twin cylinder "Rebel" so google pics of Honda 250 single cyl motorcycle engines until you find a match, then google stators for that engine.

Maybe you could come up with something? Ive tried that myself and am coming up with notta. Not trying to pawn the legwork off but im getting mighty frustrated with this thing. Lol
Okay, update. Got a stator coil on it. And had to put an old cdi box in it to get spark. I assume when the old stator got destroyed it shorted, destoying the cdi. Aside from that, with the new (old) cdi box i have spark again. And remember it was running fine before the stator mishap. Now i have spark. And seems to be good compression, idk how to check that exactly though. And now it wont even hit a lick on starting fluid. Even with clearly strong spark grounding the plug on the motor. So what can it be?
Hold on, you posted that you couldn't get a stator. Please tell all the ladies and gents here where and how you got one, so if they read this thread, they can get one. Forums are supposed to be a two way help system.
Are you sure the new trigger coil is in the same position otherwise it will be out of time. Also if the flywheel and stator jammed together it could have sheared the flywheel key and moved the flywheel round. This also would put the spark out of time. This can be checked by ensuring the piston is at TDC (look through plug hole) when the timing mark on the flywheel says it is.

Thank you all for the help ahead of time. But the stator i got installed to produce spark is the one that came with my kit i got off amazon. i replaced the trigger coil with the one i already had to make it fit since the one that came was too wide to mount. It had 3 mount holes and my original had 2 but the 2 on it line up. Im not 100% its going to do the job properly till i get it fired. What am i looking for when looking through the spark plug hole?
And as well, with spark, shouldnt it atleast hit with fuel in the plug hole or starting fluid in the carb directly??? It has with everything else ive ever dealt with. So i was kinda stunned to see it have spark, direct fuel imput (tried a dose of fuel directly in spark plug and starting fluid directly in carb) , and what seems to be same compression as when it ran fine before the first stator got messed up. But still not a hit or nothing...?? Chinese quads are new to me and can tell theyre a bear to deal with.
