Kazuma 50cc

Hi all I’m new here but not new to quads!! It’s Been awhile but I’ve had blasters, banshees and 400ex and for some reason this little 50cc for my son is giving me the most trouble...to start when I get it It would run but have a steady drip of fuel out of the carb when it was t running so I assumed that from sitting a while the carb was gunked up and instead of cleaning it I ordered a new 1 for $15. That’s when problems started... ever since I changed carb all I get is a clicking from the starter relay. Ordered a new one and the same thing. Tried to bypass it and would work so I assumed it was bad, ordered another and same thing, tried jumping it from a bigger battery and all I get is clicking from the relay. Can anyone give me some advice as to what could be wrong?? Would be much appreciated !!

A single click is correct, multiple clicks (buzzing) is flat battery or bad connection (including earths). If I get a non running starter, with a single click from the solenoid, I always test with a lamp. Connect it between starter positive post and earth, switch on, press start button, if solenoid clicks and lamp doesn't light, faulty solenoid. If it clicks and lamp lights, but starter doesn't turn, faulty starter motor, usually brushes. Shorting the solenoid should tell you if it is the starter, but they can be intermittent so, if it turns you think the starter is OK, fit a new solenoid and find the starter won't turn.
