My sportsman thinks it’s in reverse. It does not accurately know which gear it is in. I’m suspecting a shift linkage issue but not sure what needs replaced. Or is this a sensor problem? Unit moves forward fine but the reverse speed limit engages and only lets you go so fast.

Any guidance?
