Finally, we got a chance to drag race a little (the shee was working fine, scram breaking in finished, abd a nice drag strip -not an actual drag strip, but a nice hard pack w/ some gravel stretch).
Well...the numerous mods he got weren't enough (see the site in the sig for details of his/our bikes).
We drag raced some times...but had more fun roosting and doing tiny jumps.
1st time. I tested a 2nd gear start. crap. I got dusted, and could hardly get back on him (maybe I should have accelerated more than 1/2 throttle...he was happy to win).
2nd race. I started in 1st, found (miraculously) some grip, and we stayed side by side until I hit a neutral between 3 and 4th gear (I lost half length). And got back to him after a little
3rd race. I didn't get much grip, but didn't miss any gears...and he was way back.

-> even hot scrams aren't drag freaks...my shee being bone stock for the engine.

Xplor can't testify right now (his internet connection failed...or something like this), but I won 2 out of 3 races...and his scram still isn't up to the job. He was trying to find excuses after (like "I'm gonna rejet, it's not fast..." bla bla).

I'll add some more on how I felt on his tank compared to the shee...
scram owners...run away from the drag strips! ahahah

Congrats Zorro. My only question is did you have a blast doing it. As long as we are having fun and riding I dont mind getting roosted all day long. A bad day riding is still better than most any other day.

you bet we have a blast...he called me it was like 7pm and said "do we go for a little ride before it gets dark?" ...and we rode for 2h. It was real cool. No mud, just a little sand pit...we spent 2 h trying to wheelie, roosting and jumping. Total blast.

I'm waiting for him to add his comments to this.

No no no!! Thats not it at all Zorro. Our top speeds are the same now and the only reason you beat me once is I started out without giving it more than half throttle. (scared to flip backwards)

It was a blast!
