Chinese atv 110 stator replacement and timing
#1
Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and would like to ask a simple question. My sons atv needs a stator replacement and I went ahead and removed it and ordered a new one, But once I took it off i spun the magneto by hand and the chain moved along with it but it only pulls the chain in one direction only. Now will this mess up the timing or can I just put the stator back on and be good? Any help will be appreciated.

A while since I did one, but on a Honda Cub clone motor the chain you can see goes to the starter motor, so is not a timing chain. The timing chain is further in, and you haven't gone that far. So check if that chain is going to the starter, if so, all is well.
