Default Timing chain

I have a 110cc Chinese atv and the timing chain keeps slipping. I was hoping I could get some opinions on weather I should get a new chain or fix the one I have. I think the one I have is stretched and needs a link or two taking out. I don’t have a chain breaker put I do believe I could take a link out. Should I buy a new chain or fix the one I have?? Thanks!

Fit a new chain, once all the automatic adjustment is used up, the chain is stretched beyond use, you are lucky a valve hasn't hit the piston if the timing has slipped. Are you sure you haven't lost the adjuster? On most 110s it looks a lot like the sump plug, thousands of owners have removed it when doing an oil change, and the timing chain tensioner spring and plunger shoot out instead of oil.
