Eton viper 90 green red wire location Need help! Kids eton viper 90 green red wire broke off can't find where it goes. Wiring schematic shows its for the shift drum? Can anyone point me in the direction of where its located?. Thank you!
Could have done with a bit more information, there are several different Eton90s and only the pre 2005 ETon 90R seems to have a shift drum. It is low down inside that cover with the three other switches poking out, The wire goes to an identical switch (only shows one wire to it in the parts book) so the switch could be at the back, underneath, or even at the other side of the gearbox.

KA32, did you ever get this sorted? We have an '03 viper 90r. 2 stroke. We have been chasing a problem with the motor cutting out when we switch it to forward. That green wire came loose on ours also. There is a bolt that sits on top of the engine (actually cvt part of the engine), under the 2 stroke oil tank. On top of the head of this bolt is a tiny phillips head screw. This holds down a wire ring. The green wire should be attached to that ring.
We also had the loom, that holds the FNR wires, come in contact with the tail pipe. This melted the loom and clear into the grey neutral wire. We reattached and soldered everything. But it still cuts out when we switch it to F. going to have my son disconnect all electrical connections and clean them with the electrical, cleaner spray. Trying all of the least, invasive methods, before spending the money on a new cdi or wire harness. If anyone has any other suggestion, I would love to hear them.
Thanks
