Long wearing tires?

I need advice on tire choice.
looking for an agressive, hard compound tire, on the so called cheap.
Thinking about Kenda bear claw ex?

Bear Claws are a fairly good compromise between cost, life and grip. If you want really long life, Big Horn radials are the best we have found, but much more expensive.
