Hello Polaris family,

I may have an opportunity to buy a 2009 Polaris Sportsman Limited 850 XP in great condition with low miles/hours, garage kept etc. for a great price. I remember those years there were recalls with the steering etc. My question is if I buy this used and it NEVER
had the recall fix to it, would Polaris still honor any recall work needed to be done to it?

Any other recall or other issues I should know about? Thoughts on buying this year model?

just contact your dealer you have dealt with on your other bikes you have bought and give them the vin# and they should be able to tell you about any and yes they have to still fix any recalls if they haven't been done no matter who owns it I believe. p.s good luck with that power house should be fun!
