Default New to racing. What to modify?

Hi I’m just switching over from dirt bikes to quads and wondering what I should do for modifying the bike for racing. I already took care of the engine with new cams, carb, rev box and so on. I am now wondering what I should do with the suspension and swingarm and frame. Are there any mods that I should do for racing xc or mx. Lowering kits, widening kits, extended swingarms. I’m new to quad racing so any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
i have a 2003 kfx400

Are you going to do MX XC or a mix of both?

Gusset the frame. Same quad as the LTZ 400, just rebadged as Kawasaki. That year had a known frame that was prone to cracks.

Tough to set a machine up for both. Stock width a-arms for XC and +2 or +3 a-arms for MX.
Shocks are set-up different also.
Suspension is the key to improving tho.
JB Racing for a-arms and swinger.
PEP PB1's are the best shock made.
You'll need a RPM Dominator axel.
Good luck and be safe.
