Torque on wheel nuts if wheel spacers

In the manual “Polaris Sportsman Touring 850” it says to torque at 45ftlb for steel wheels and 75ftlb for aluminium wheels. I have aluminium wheels but I keep my 2’’ wheel spacers that I need with my winter tracks. When I push over 70ftlb I break my wheel spacers bolts (extenders).

Is there any risk if I only torque 45ftlb on my 2’’ wheel spacers + aluminium wheels?
