has anyone ever made there own wheel spacers? i thought about taking out the studs and putting longer ones in and just adding a ton of washers. has anyone ever tried this? if so how did it work..i thought this way would be cheaper then paying 60 dollars for a durablue set.

thanks for any help

The washers won't allow the wheel to tighten enough to keep them from virbrating the nuts loose. The best way is to take some aluminum bar about 5-6" thick and have it machined down to the width you want. But then you might as well by the durablue set. Another option is to buy offset wheels.
