10A ignition fuse blows as soon as key is on.

Switch the kill switch to the off position, Switch the ignition on, if the fuse does not now blow, unplug the CDI and switch the kill back to run. If the fuse still doesn't blow, you have a faulty CDI. Check the green/white earth wire to the CDI is a good earth, I use a heavy wattage test lamp for this, then fit a new CDI. Fuse should not now blow. Start engine and check how many volts you get across the battery, if you get more than 15v, shut off again before you blow another CDI and buy a new regulator as well.
