2002 bombardier ds90 4-stroke wants to stall... help me please!
#1
Hello fellow atv enthusiasts. I have a 2002 bombardier(can-am) ds90 4-stroke that had been sitting in my garage for about 8ish years and was giving us some carb problems in the past (so we thought🤷♂️) when parked. I have since then replaced the carb with a Chinese pz19 replacement, replaced fuel line w/ in line fuel filter, changed the oil, changed the spark plug, changed the battery, and drained the tank as well as blew air up through the lines to rid of any possible clog. I just cannot seem to get this thing to run right. It will die after idling for a few minutes and die when revving up or putting in gear. I have tried adjusting the screws and the needle on the throttle. The carb is slightly different as the fuel port is on top of the bowl unlike the older one that was on the side of the bowl. Seems to be getting fuel in the bowl but runs like a bucket of bolts. could this be a timing or valve issue? It has relatively low hours on the motor maybe 30-35 hours. Usually I can figure these things out but I'm stumped by this one. Any information you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
