I’m looking for a high output stator for this motor to power LED headlights and light bar. The stock unit is much too weak. I see entire systems including stator, voltage regulator, CDI & solenoid for around $40 on Amazon but think it is likely the same. Any recommendations for a better more powerful electrical system?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Not long ago there were several posts on here about new bikes with alternators that were too powerful, boiling batteries, the TaoTao dealers didn't seem to realise the bikes were fitted with a rectifier only and should have had a voltage regulator to suit the high power alternator fitted. Don't know which alternators are more powerful, I doubt if the Amazon sellers do either.
