lost forward AWD

lost forward AWD
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar situation. I have a 2005 Polaris sportsman 500 HO that just lost AWD while plowing snow in low and high gears. It does have AWD in reverse with over ride button pushed. Any thoughts?
