Does the awd work in reverse got stuck in snow today and in reverse did not see front wheels spin?

 

Spose to, mine did first time I used my awd was in rev...

 

You need to push and HOLD the override button in for AWD in reverse(yellow button)...........The display should flash "SLOW"..................Caper..........

 

When all else fails, read the owners manual.

 

Thanks caper did not know that, but I know the winch works now lol, they sure ar heavy!!!

Yeah, my old honda foreman was always on 4x4, this is all new to me, but 'll get the hang of it someday.....

 

Note.........Even in 2wd if you push and hold the yellow button this will alow you to travel faster in reverse...............But be carefull..........The engine limiter is no longer causing the quad to spit and sputter!!!.......Caper..............

 

You can override the reverse safety switch. Just search the POLARIS forums for "reverse override" and you'll find a few threads on it. If you still have questions after that, just let us know.

 

As far as I know you have keep the reverse button pressed for awd in reverse.
