My honda forman was giving me fits about shifting down. Especially into N. So I tried a few of the tricks and nothing seamed to help it. So i decided to try new parts. I backed the machine up and drove it over to the garage. It even shifted to N for once.

I replaced my shift motor and angle sensor. When i got everything back together there wasnt any sound that it was trying to even move the shift motor. So i took everything back apart and inspected everything. I tried to shift it with the motor off the trans and nothing. So i jumped the motor and it spun.
I then ordered a new shift button controler. That didnt work. So i manually shifted it to 2nd and shut of the machine. Then manually put it in N. Turned the switch on and off 10 times. Then started it and it shifted up to 1 and wouldnt shift up or down. No sound of the shift motor even trying to turn. Any ideas? I have tried about everything i can. I dont want to have to make a shifter handle and weld it on.
