Camso R4S Snow Tracks for a 2007 Polaris 500
#1
My backup quad is a 2007 Polaris 500 that I bought new. I want to mount tracks on it next year and am thinking the Camso R4S which they build for the 2007 Polaris 500.
My concern is the tracks are only 8 inches wide. Does anyone have any experience with these tracks in deep snow? They are probably only 8 inches wide so the 500 can pull them easily. I'm just going to use them to run in and out of my access road which is pretty steep in places and can get deep snow drifts. I need to run from about 2000 feet elevation to 5200 feet to get to the county road so the demand can really change
My main quad is a 2020 Canam 850 but don't want to have tracks on it all winter here on the ranch and the tracks for the Polaris are considerably cheaper.
Thanks for any responses. I appreciate any info you guys can pass on.
