Default Snow Chains On The Front

Any of you fellas running snow chains on the front of your quad with stock wheels? I have a 2007 Polaris 500 and with lots of ice this winter have had to chain all four just to get around. The chains eat up the rubber on the steering knuckles in the front. The rear is close but the chains don’t rub.

What wheels have any of you been using and what is the best offset or is there nothing out there. Have not searched the internet yet. Just thought I would ask as I’m sure anyone who runs a quad in the winter with lots of ice around has had this problem.

Thanks for your responses in advance.

Did some looking around and see they make spacer’s to move the wheels out some. Any of you have any experience with using them and how do they stand up over the long haul? What brand or type would you recommend?
