1987 Honda Trx 200 sx sprocket help.
#1
Hi all, I picked up a 87 trx and would like to change the rear tires to 20" instead of the factory 22 or whatever. I believe the factory sprockets are 12t & 41t. I hope that helps
question is what size front or rear should I look for?
Thank you for your time.

Firstly. why would you want to? If you must, my maths may be out but I recon that is a 10% drop in ratios so up ratio 10% if you want to get back to standard, 12/36. Again, if my maths is right.

Found some street atv tires that I will use to putt around the neighborhood is why. Not interested in riding knobby tires on the street.
i will leave the knobby tires off-road.
Where are some online places to buy sprokets?
Thanks

Don't know the SX model, everyone round here had an ES Big Red three wheeler with shaft drive. They didn't have any rear suspension, so be sure those "street" ATV tyres are as soft as the knoblies, if your machine is "hard tail"
