Could someone tell me if a flywheel with visibly nothing wrong could be bad? I am getting nothing off pickup coil (blue wire) but stator puts out voltage. 2 stators and pick up coils but same readings from both and no reading from pickup. Any suggestions?

 

1990s method of testing pickup and exciter coils was by the resistance, so what is the resistance of these coils? More recently voltage from them, when engine is spun on starter, has been the way to test, but Honda recommend the use of a "peak voltage tester" for this, so are you using one? I only have a pre 2005 workshop manual, but pickup resistance on that model was 50 to 200 ohms, Exciter (black/red wire) 400 to 800 ohms.
