Be sure you hot wired it correctly it as you can blow the CDI if you don't know which ignition switch wires to jump. Anyway, most likely is the battery flat or main fuse gone, so check battery is charged and connected the right way round. Check all thick wires are connected properly, including earths, then check fuse. Main wire from fuse to ign switch is usually red, so check you are getting power at switch red.

no not at all i dont think because the head lights and the lights that show you what gear your do not turn on at all and I have replaced the fuse with the correct fuse and it blew the fuse again and so I replaced the fuse AGAIN and it hasn't blown so far so I'm just really lost

If it blew the fuse before you switched ignition on it has to be the regulator or the switch. If it blew the fuse once you switched ign on, there was a short after the switch, a wire will now probably have burnt through, stopping it blowing fuse again. A burnt area of wiring would show, so inspect it. Next check with a meter or test lamp if you are getting power to ign switch from fuse. Then with ign switch on, check if you are getting power from switch to light switch but you have to be able to do the tests and know which colour wire does what. If you can't, take it to an ATV or motorcycle repairer or vehicle electrician.
