i cant break an atv tire
#2
i'M guessing you mean to break it off the bead of the rim...if so take it to sears auto shop and if they have a rim clamp tire machine have them put some air in it and then bust the back side bead first then the front will come off much easier..hope this helps

hi guys! i use my truck to break down my tires. i place a 2x2 foot piece of plywood down on the ground and place the tire on top of that, the narrow part of the rim up,then i have some one to stand on it while i drive my truck and slowly run the front tire of the truck on to the tire keeping the truck tire as close to the rim as possable anr sterr along the rim. you might have to back off the tire and have the other person turn the tire a little bit to get an other bite. once that breaks down then turn it over and do the same on this side. i haven't hurt a tire or rim yet doing it this way. this is how i do my car and truck tires also.

Harbor Friegt Tools sells a nice manual tire changer that works great on ATV tires. Motorcycle shops charge 10 bucks per tire to change and they never clean the wheel. I started changing my own tires about 5 years ago and don't have problems with leaks anymore.
