I have a 15 tooth SideWinder front sprocket on the way. Any pointers on changing it or is it pretty simple? Haven't even taken the guard off to look at the situation yet. The stock chain length I would hope would be ok?

Bombardier did one more thing right, the chain tensioner is an absolute breeze to use, when compared against my old Banshee.

To change the sprocket, remove the guard covering the counter-sprocket, it has three hex head screws. Then loosen off the two bolts on the very back of the swingarm.

To loosen the chain you will need to look in your bike toolkit, there is a steel rod about 5" long, insert this firmly into the holes on the rear swingarm (chain-side), push the DS forward and the chain will loosen, pull backwards and it will tighen. Pretty damn neat. Be careful not to push too far back or forwards as you can bend the rod.

Once you have loosed then chain, you will need a 30mm socket and a big wrench (I used my torque-wrench) to undo the nut holding the sprocket on. It helps to have the front brake on, and a couple of people sitting on the DS when you do this. Once the nut is off remove the washer and the sprocket.

Put the new sprocket on, the flat side should be facing outwards, put the washer on , put a little Locktite on the thread, do up the nut. I do not know what torqu setting is in the manual, perhaps someone with the workhsop manual could post this setting, I used 110 Ft/Pds. Carefully fold down the washer over the nut, I used a large screwdriver and mallet, this will help stop the nut from moving.

Tighten the chain, you will need to sit on the DS(with riding gear) and get someone else to check the free-play in the chain (19mm) 3/4". Tighten the rear bolts and your done.

It's easier to break the nut loose befor loosening the chain. Then just put yout foot on the rear break as you loosen the nut. Loosen the chain to remove the sprocket after removing the sprocket nut.
