want new trail boss
#1
I rode a Polaris machine for the first time this past weekend and loved it. The ride was great and I also like the automatic tranny. I really like the trailboss for it's size and value, but I was wondering about this hi/low range issue I've been reading about lately. I realize that the trailboss does not have low range. Most of my riding is slow, 10mph or less, weaving in and out of trees up and down moderate hills and pulling a yard cart around for landscaping around the house. I'm not a speed demon. I just like to putt-putt around. Would I have problems shredding belts or am I looking at the wrong machine? thanks in advance.

Hi Westport,
I have a TrailBoss 325, 2000 model. We have run it under tight trail conditions...usually with my girlfriend or her daughter driving it.
I have seen no issues...no problems...with the slow use...
and other than the bent rims from nutso driving...it has held up great! (Briefly, we had a Scrambler 500 and only the trailboss to ride with it...so the Trail Boss had to fly to sorta keep up...resulting in 4 slightly bent rims)
I would recommend this machine to anyone not out for speed! We love it.
