any body ever pull the recoil off their machine after going swimming? The other day I found a bottomless hole on the Red Top trail. Thank god for the winch. After getting out, and dried off. I noticed that there was mud under the seal area around the recoil handle. I'm sure water and dirt got inside. Just thought I would pass this along as this could be a neglected water/dirt entry area.

 

There is a drain at the bottom of the recoil houseing to let water out. I just removed the paper gasket that is supposed to hold water out because the recoil handle lets it in nomater wat, might as well remove the gasket and make it easier to get out.
