my 98 banshee seems like it is getting harder to shift gears when i am on the gas is there any ajustment i can try or how can this be fixed? I installed a dirt digger clutch last year and it said two leave the rubber o rings out could this be causing the hard shifting? If i let off the gas and slow shift it goes right in to gear. If i am racing and try to shift fast it is like i have to bounce the lever several times ad usually if still wont go untill i let off the gas. I am stumped!!! THANKS ALOT GUYS!!!

Duncan racing does sell a modded shift star. they say it helps with the shifting but doesnt correct the problem completely.

Use of a good synthetic oil helps the Banshee shift a little better.

take the clutch side cover off and make sure the part of the shift lever shaft that goes over the star is properly adjusted. If the bracket that is over the pins doe not have equal spaces on both sides between it and the pins it can cause shifting trouble...
