36t sprocket on 300ex??

If put a 36t back sprocket on a 300 would it gain any top end speed & would it affect the bottom end?

Yes it will give you more top end and will not hurt you on the bottom either. I have a 36t on the rear and a 14t on the front. Love it and would never think of going back to stock gearing.
