making circles around the house, not really tearing stuff up or anything, and cause the wife has flowers planted all up along the sidewalk i have to dip off the curb and around to go around our sidewalk and lo and behold turned around and mr state trooper is right behind me. tickets for unlawful operation of a atv on a road and unregistered(aint done it yet). nice. cant wait to pay that @#$! fine. Only pigs when you get tagged, now if someone stole your Raptor you'd be happy to see them. I've had my share of tickets too and occasionally ride my Raptor up my street. If I get ticketed, well I know it's illegal to ride it on the road and you takes your chances. Also know that people tend to leave off more incriminating parts of the story.

 

No, if someone stole my Raptor I'd be "happy" to see the Raptor, not some cop who talks down to you, then tells you there's little chance of ever seeing it again anyway. Face it, unless the crook is caught red-handed, or you find it in his garage, it's gone. Insurance needs a police report, nothing about any of that makes me "happy".

people ride up and down my road all the time.cops couldn't care less if we do or don't ride on the roads as long we don't go down the road at full throttle unless it's a utility quad.

 

i drag raced a cop on my friends rm250! my dad is good friends with all the cops in town. he built a house for the cop i dragged with. knowing cops has its advantages. there was one CHP that caught me riding my xr250 down the road without a permit or license. well he made me push my dirt bike about a mile and a half home and he followed me home the WHOLE way. at leaste my parents were not home. he was a good sport. not all cops are bad.

I agree with fourlix there is a lot of cops (where i live) who are arrogant a$$holes it sux if you catch them on a bad day they can be a real pain in the **** ,it should be the same for everyone they let some people off and not others most of the time just a warning would be enough but it depends on who you are thats all it is especially if you are a young male (like myself) who doesnt take any crap, for instanse too of mates jumped on his motocross bike and rode through the main street of our town one night carrying a video camera being silly buggers (as you do) and a cop pulled them over and was going to throw the book at them, when another officer arrived who just happened to be friend of theres from motocross it just so happens he let them off with a warning surprise surprise!!!!!!!!
