Here it is. I own a 01 Raptor. I am unhappy that yamaha hasen't recalled our 01 raptors, but instead, changes things that broke on the 02' models. If this were honda, they would have right away came out with a recall. I know this because on honda riding lawnmOwers, there was a problem with weak trannys. One guy came in to our shop, and it was 3 years old and he had a broke the tranny. This machine only had a one year warrinty. We called a honda service rep. and he said there would be no problem, and they would take care of it. I wish Yamaha would show love like that

 

I read your titled and thought, "I didn't know Yamaha had customer service."

I feel sorry for the Yamaha dealers out there. Some of them, like mine have excellent service, but withouut Yamaha to back them up on the Raptor, we're out of luck.

 

Dude, Yamaha makes me mad, what can we do?

 

Stop buying Yamahas...they'll get the message.

 

I own a 01 Raptor and really miss my 87 Honda 250X. It was bullet proof compared to the Raptor.
