I need some "real world" GC numbers
#1
My girlfriend got a Rancher 4x4 ES a few weeks ago. After riding it only a few minutes I was thinking about getting a Foreman 450 for myself(I currently own a Polaris Xpedition 425). I finally got to take the Rancher out by myself Sunday and I was very impressed! The rancher has a great suspension and plenty of power.
Heres my delima...I like the rancher but I think for my size(6ft5in,300+lbs) I would be more comfortable on a Foreman. While browsing the Honda website I noticed the Foreman only has 7.7" of ground clearance. The Rubicon has over 10. I measured the Rancher from the rear diff(lowest point) and it has about 8.5" ground clearance. I measured my Xpedition w/ 26" Mudrunners from the same point and it has 9.5" GC. I like playin in the mud and I dont want to go backward on ground clearance.
Would somebody measure their Foreman and tell me what the "real" ground clearance is?
