Well, I am still trying to find tires to replace the stock ones on my Rancher, and it's getting quite tough. I understand that the stock size is 25x11x10, but not many make tires this size. I have seen the Titan 489's, but they are two ply and I am looking for 4-6ply.

Anyone else have a problem finding tires (rear) for their Rancher, this is getting rather troublesome. Thanks for any help in advance.

If you're open to a slight change, the GBC Dirt Devils have one that is 25x12x10 - only 1 inch wider; 1/2" clearance loss. Its a 6-ply. A few other vendors have this size as well. Rocky Mountain ATV has them for about $43.

Do you know anyone who has tried this? Just curious as the Spider Tracs I ordered were way too wide. Not sure what width I have to play with on these tires, bugging the hell out of me. Thanks though, I appreciate it

why do you say that the ITP Spider Tracs were ways to wide? Did you get the 13.50 inch wide ones or 12.50 inch? I have the 22x12.50x9's on the back of my recon and they are not to wide.

I would go with the titans,, but if you want a tire with more ply's then you should check out the good year mud runners, thats a nice tire too.

Thanks for the help. I went with Snowshark's recommendation and ordered a set of Kenda Bear Claws...tough to find something that will fit the Rancher rear rims.

Put the 25x8x12 Bear Claws on the front. Put 25x10x11 Bear Claws on the back. You are looking at $250.00. They work good and your done.

Dryfly: I know how you feel, but let me suggest something. I know and you know finding tires is a pain. If your willing to spend the extra money now here is the answer. Order whatever aftermarket rims you like and make sure they are both12" rims. Then next time it comes to finding tires you have the right rims to fit almost every tire out there for a quad. Besides this, if you get a unfixable flat as the way your going with a 12" rim size tire and a 11",,,you will easily spend enough money(or close to it) to have bought the 12" rims to put the same size tires all around. This way you only need one spare tire and it fits them all. This is what I ended up doing to save money in the long run, and to be honest it has saved us money going to this setup up with our other quads. Anyway, good luck.
