Can anyone tell me what all is involved in starting an atv club? There isn't many places to ride where I live and there is talk of closing down another place where lots of folks ride. I wasn't planning on ram-rodding the deal, just trying to collect some info for someone that might. The idea is that we might be taken more seriosly as a club and keep some areas from closing or maybe even get some new ones opened up.

The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (hot link accessible from the ATV Connection Home Page) has a "How To Start A Club Kit," I think.

Also, the AMA (I believe they're linked from ATV Connection also) can help.

Otherwise, unleash your search engine on NOHVCC and AMA (as well as their full names).

Failing that, E-mail me and I'll give you some personal contacts at those organizations.
