How many atv riders here belong to a club?

I am just wondering how many of you members here belong to an atv club? As the snowmobilers have found out-there is strength in numbers and here in NY they have al the trails to themselves.Lets all join a club and get some of these trails they call " Theirs"----- " Ours"! PS- I just joined 3 clubs. 2 in the Adirondacks and in Ontario, Canada, ATV club of Ontario.

Being a snowmobiler and new to ATV's, I can see the benefits of joining a club. I've just joined a new club called Belknap ATV Family Adventurers in Belmont NH. They certainly seem like a hard working club and already have many things happening, like a ride to the top of Mt. Washington. I recommend everybody join a club and help out.

I joined the Windrock ATV Club about a year and half ago and really enjoy riding with this group. Most of the guys know the riding areas much better than me so I feel better about heading-out into the woods.
We have over 200 members now and are getting more every week. We have two main areas of focus: we work to ensure that we all will have riding areas available to us in the future, and we have two large rides every year.
Being a part of this club has made riding ATVs a much more enjoyable activity. It's nice to be around people that have the same goals and work ethics as I do. We work hard and we play hard.
I would suggest that you check-out your local club, go to a meeting and go on a ride with them. You'll probably have a great time, and will make some new friends.

I wish there were a club in my area! I have been talking to people to start one but nobody seems to be really interested! They all just want to complain about how there are no riding areas in southern Minnesota. My goal is to get some people together and start a trail in this area. All alone I have been out scouting the river bottoms and talking to landowners about a trail through their property. I have had a mixed response. Everyone seems to think they are going to get sued if there is an accident! This is not true! This will be alot of work and I cant do it alone.
I hope to have a new website up soon for southern Minnesota. I will keep you posted.

I have been a NYTRO of WNY member for three years.
We've been trying to stop Albany from blowing our
registration on anything they want. It's all too
political though, too bad. If anybody wants to join New York Trail Riders Organisation we have 3 chapters all across the state. We have our own club trails too, plus a discount at the only ATV campground around with 1000 acres. We're listed here in the club section.
