hi, I have a 97 trail boss 250, that has been taken care of great. My problem is now when it idles there is a rattle in the engine when i give it throttle the rattle quits. Has anyone encounterd this problem on the 250? compretion good, jets good, injector pump good, dont understand why all of a sudden it wants to be an a** hole. oh the thing runs great!!!! thanks.

 

feel the clutch housing (black cover) while it rattles. If you can feel it hitting the inside, the cover is warped and it's rubbing. My 2000 TB is already got a warped cover.
