Stuck swingarm bolt
#1
Is there a trick to getting seized swing arm bolts out? I bent the swingarm on my 250r and it wouldn't be that tough to replace if i could just get the bolt out. Maybe there's some trick that everyone else already knows but i haven't figured it out. I doubt the bold has ever been out.

use the oil and torch. Get a steel bar that's almost the same size as the bolt, so it hits directly on the end and doesn't mushroom it.
Give it some good smacks with a sledge. If it doesn't budge, you're probably going to have to take it to a machine shop. They'll get it out one way or another.
We've actually had to cut the swingarm out to remove a few pivot bolts, but that's worst-case scenario!

you probably bent the bolts along with the swingarm and that is your problem. just keep pounding them i woould say.
i had the same trouble with my banshee a-arms, i bent the sleeve and the bolt and it was hell to get out the bolt.
