i love my wife and i love riding with her, but since we bought out quads ive discovered my learning curve is quite a bit steeper than her's. this weekend I wanted to go riding with the guy i bought my quad from, and low and behold now the misses is comming allong to. and im afraid shes going to feel left out because i want to go places she wont. How do you married guys go out ridding for the weekend with friends without getting stuck on the couch. (this also aplies to the ladies leaving the guys at home) thanks

Mine loves to go off road in my Jeep and loves riding the DS BUT she also knows that sometimes the "boys" gotta hang with the "boys". So she has a "girls" day or night out. Give her some cash to go shopping while ya go riding......maybe that'll do it. You know chic's love to shop.

thanks ProEMTPFF but with my luck i'll get stuck with paying for her to take her friends out. At least for lunch and a night of drinking after they are done shopping (there are no easy way's out)

The truth? My wife and I have discussed our diference in riding abilities. She accepts that when we ride together, just her and I, that I will try to avoid areas that she is uncomfortable with. However, she also approves of me and the boys taking off and either not bringing her with, let her ride in a "safe area" with "other people", or leave her in a cloud of dust... I guess that my only suggestion is that you delicatly have an honest discussion with her on this subject.... You might begin with "hey, I was on the net the other day, and this guy brought up an interesting question....."

Best of luck!
