Snow in rad...ugghh
#1
My Sportsman overheats in the winter....WHAT?? Snow builds up on the rad and stops airflow through the cooling fins...so put a 14" X 14" peice of plywood in front of the rad, between front bumper and lower skid plate to stop snow from impacting the rad. Air still slows above this, the hole where a winch spot has been put. If your going to do this, make sure you still have some air flow. The fan needs to draw air through the rad when the temp gets up to chill coolant. Fun in the snow...
