I know u've given a review of u'r bike but i still wanna know a few things such as wheeling. Is it like the 400 and can wheelie w/o a thought or do u have to work on it, u said it wheelies but i wanna know how easy, can u just nail it in like 3rd and pull a nice wheelie. Also how are the shocks, u said u've rode a fx b/4, how did the shocks on the fx compare to the cannibal,or the raptor/400ex. just a few q's if u could answer, and add anything else u want. I want one of these bikes bad but wanna wait to see the reliability.

Wheelies are almost to easy, getting a good start in 2nd gear I have to put all my weight on the front to keep it down, which is still difficult. Yes it does 3rd gear too. Don't know how to compare it to the Cannibal, I havn't riden one, but the Ohlins work fine for me, do wish the fronts had compression adjustment though.

Reliability hasn't been a problem so far for me, I did have a nut come loose on one of my tie rods and fouled a plug once. I have heard of others having bolts loosening on their frames but nothing major. This engine has been in production for 2 years now so it shouldn't be a problem.
They did have some bad flywheels come out of the heat treat proccess but that has been fixed. C-dale is on top of any problems and want a successful machine. I beleive they have issued 8 service orders to fix a few things, I have to get mine into the shop

I had a FX400 in fact mine was the 97th of the production line. It had way to many problems. #1 The engine blew after only 3 months, but in Cannondales behalf they sent me an FX400 in the NEW Red version. Cannondale has done nothing but make everything right for me. I would by one all over again.

That was the only problem I had with the engine, but the clutch disinegrated, I had to have the front spindles replaced with the recall. I don't knowe if you know this yet but they had another recall. I found out about it on saturday. The one thing I will tell you is that the people at Cannondale have been nothing but helpful with me the whole time. Like I said before I would by a Cannondale again and again and again.
