I will be getting a trailblazer as soon as my local dealer gets them in. I was wondering what i can look forward to in the break-in process. my brother has a honda 300 4x4
but he hasnt told me how he broke his in. anyways i thought a 2 stroke might be different from a 4 stroke. so any suggestions or tips

I'd just say. Take it easy for the first tank of gas. Then have at it.

Anyone else think this?

I've never had a new ATV! so i wouldn't know!

Enjoy your new Trailblazer . For the first 3 hours avoid high RPM's and heavy loads . For the first hour of running time separate it into 3 or 4 sessions .
After these first few hours , adust your chain and make a trip around your quad with a grease gun .
After this time your quad is ready to go . If you keep your airfilter clean , your chain lubricated and oil in your injector , you will be well satisfied with your purchase .

What oil? Do you mean the gearbox oil? They say that is fine for a year.

Rick is right. Take it easy (half throttle) for the first tank. Ride several short rides for your first tank (less than an hour each). After this open it up.

When we bought our 2 98 Trail Blazers we received manuals, charts and a video with both that explained the operation for the vehicle during breakin and the suggested maintenance intervals for oil changes, lubes and tuneups. You should definitely be expecting information of this type when you take delivery of your vehicle.Congratulations and have fun!!

No doubt you made a good choice. If you like yours as much as I like mine you will be in good shape. It's kind of hard to take it easy on that first tank.Happy trails, and any thing else you might encounter.
