When installing nitrous there's alot more than bolting it on. Nitrous will melt the stock valves in your motor. It all depends on how much you want to spend vs. how fast you want to go.

Nitrous will melt your stock valves? I dont believe thats very accurate. Nitrous only brings with it more oxygen, why would it melt the pistons. What you need to watch for would be your timing and air/fuel mixture. Timing will have to be retarded and you'll want more fuel obviously now because the nitrous has approximately 32% oxygen in it. You wont hurt anything if you tune, be careful and ask people who use it. Blown head gasket would be much more likely.

It may just bring more oxygen but that oxygen allows for a much hotter fire in your engice. Hotter than it was made for. Even hotter than the fire I started in your momma panties. Oh wait I am getting a little off subject.O well just go for have a few fun rides then wait til you break it to regret it..

After adjusting timing and air/fuel mixtures it should be fine for a shot of nitrous. As for the fire in my mommas panties, that was there before you, you may want to go to the doctor and have a check up...

I was at Saint Anthony last week and there was a Raptor there runing Chokecherry hill with Nitrous. It was very fast it would definately beat most Banshees or Quadzillas I've seen run up the hills. Anyway, I had a chance to check out that Raptor a little and here is what it had done to it. The stock airbox was removed to make room for the bottle. Both carbs had clamp on K&N filters that were squeezed in there pretty good. Besides the usual plumbing and electricals to inject the nitrous (not nitris) you MUST have an electric fuel pump to keep the mixture correct. I'm not sure how the pump is hooked up but it is mandatory to have. The owner said that the machine was completely stock except for the nitrous and a pipe. I hope this helps.

When you add nitrous you also have to add fuel...

The nitrous kit uses a fuel pump so it can spray more gas while spraying nitrous.

The bum part about nitrous is you have to keep refilling the bottle, but it is a blast when you hit the button....

just watch it though. when you let off the button there is still nitrous in the supply line. If it is still spraying when you shift it will rev to the moon and blow the top end. make sure you have the shortest supply line possible and make sure you let it run out before you shift.
