I had a EPI clutch kit on my 99 500cc Polaris Sportsman, cost was 159 bucks plus installation. It raised the engagement speed a little but did;nt really help anywhere else.I bought a 25 dollar primary spring for my Xplorer, and that helped more than the entire EPI clutch kit did on the Sportsman.Im now running a Heel Clickers clutch kit and it out performs both the Hot Seat kit and EPI.

hey muddy how did you make out on the cover. did you modifi it with a heat gun or did you build it out with something.? i am going to call randy tomorrow to order a set the cover mod will be worth it by the sounds. I know i sure liked what it did for my sled. ive been trying to use the ones from my sled on my wheeler bu its hard to find the springs with that kind of presure that will fit in that clutch. i hope he will just sell me the two springs and save me the exspence. using springs for a snowsled clutch , (thining down one end so they will fit in the back of the clutch) and a blue arctic cat secondary spring my wheeler goes better than that piece of crap epi kit. spring combo is still not qwite right.
close but no cigar

i talked to randy today at super torquer and he has a clutch part soon available that will cure the ebs speed problem . 67mph stock sportsman WOW.
the clickers only have trouble when using the small cover ( adjusted wrong ) the newer style cover no problem at all
i should have my clicers figured out by next week and will let you know the results ,. its going to take a while because randy doesn't have a setup yet for a non ebs secondary clutch so i wil have to keep trying diferent springs and twists, the primary takes the same weights and spring.

can''t stress enough epi sucks

together we will crush the grizz
