I just bought a 96 warrior and it is in great shape and runs strong but if you get it in deep water it starts to cut out then all of a sudden it will pick back up and run like normal. Have any ideas what might be causing it ?? I know its not getting on the air filter. Also where can i find good information about upgrading the motor on a warrior for more power ? Also if i wanted a little more top end speed would 2 or 3 teeth on the rear sprocket help much with out making first gear too high ?

Thanks

adding teeth to the rear makes it lower.

YOu are getting watter in the magnetio. take off the left side cover and spray the mag w/ WD-40. Let it dry. Get a new gasket and reinstall. Also make sure the breather hose is attached well. Water may be getting in from there.

-good luck-

Yeah, you can get a bore kit from FST, if you wanna keep working on your quad the rest of your life!! His kits are very unreliable, I don't reccommend him at all. Just bore it .040 over, put a high perf. cam, bigger carb, port and polish the headand get pro flow airbox. Also a pipe. You would be surprized with theimprovement.
