I know a guy who turned a yamaha seca turbo 650 into a quad. He used motorcycle forks spread out to a-arms on the front end. I never got to see it go but the added stress of paddles kept breaking the ring gear (this being shaft drive). I rode a regular seca turbo, this felt like a 250 until the turbo hit, which happened to be on a corner, kind of spooky.

The unpredictability of the boost was the reason turbo's flopped on street bikes in the 80's. A blower would work since there's no lag time (some Harleys have them) but the extra horse power would be really hard on the whole drive train. Nitrous would be the easyest, cheapest way to get that type of power if you just want to ride the pi$$ out of your 7,000 dollar machine.
