A little Advice please

I can't decide on a 400ex or a raptor. After I get it I will more than likely put a big bore kit on it. Because I'm always wanting something faster than ordinary If I get a 400ex will the 440 or 465 kit make it beat modded raptors and banshees with pipes and porting? What about the raptor will the 680 or 725 kit make it hang with the banshees?

i'm having the same deliama as you right now. what i really want is a raptor because you can make em go fast really easy. a 400 is really nice and reliable and great handling and suspension though. raptors are havin lots of trouble with parts breakin on em. i dunno it all depends what you like best i guess.

From all that I've heard about yamaha being jerks when it comes time to fix their mistakes that could have been prevented at the factory.... I think I'm going to go with the 400ex. Or wait until their 450 or 650 comes out. But if I get the 400 I'll go ahead and get a pipe and the Quiksilver carb. Then wait a while for the big bore. Until I can make up my mind on a 416 or a 440. Anyone with these kits care to respond?

i have been considering both the 416 and 440. i think i have definately decided on the 416. the 440 gives alot of low end power. the 416 is more for TT racing. i want top end also. i am looking at the national kit from curtis sparks. check them out at sparksracing.com
