I have a 36mm Mikuni round slide carb on my Warrior. When at about 1/4 throttle it gurgles like crazy. I adjusted the air screw out several turns and it cleans up and runs fine, it's just the screw is way out there now. Do I need to go up or down on the pilot jet size. I lost the instructions that came with this carb. Everywhere else this carb is spot on, but it is a fuel HAWG! I truly believe this carb has cost me alot of range but it definitely feels like it has more power than with the stock carb.

 

C'mon anyone know this? Come Monday I may have to call ALBA for tech support.

 

if you air screw is althe way out you need a larger pilot ...
